Memorial Day

We all went to Heather Guck's house for a Memorial Day party. Luke had caught some fish that day while fishing with the boys. We grilled the Walleye and ate some brats too! It was a very nice day to celebrate with friends. There were probably 50 or 60 people there.

Sleeping on Mommy

Leighton actually fell on me just as you see him here. He just folded his hands, sighed and went to bed! Having your child fall asleep on you is one of the best feelings in the world!

Leighton can SMILE

Leighton smiled for the first time on May 18th, but I wasn't quick enough with the camera to capture it! Here are some I was able to get in the couple days that followed!

Leighton had a Tear

Leighton had a real tear when he cried, which is much more sad that the cry without the tear.

Leighton and Quinton were the only two boys at my friend Amber's Bachelorette Party.

He is getting more and more cute!

Here is Leighton playing in his gym. He seems to like the music and lights but is still relatively disinterested in the toys dangling all around him.

Ambers Wedding

It was so fun to be at home in Minnesota for Amber's Wedding. Leighton Got to get dressed up and was quiet the trooper. He did well all day until the end of the boat ride. This was his first wedding.

On My Boppy

Nothing too extraordinary happened today but I thought this pose was great, It looks like he is getting ready to water ski. We are getting excited to go to Minnesota this weekend as well. This is a great place for Leighton to sit while I pack.

Tummy Time

Leighton is getting better at tummy time and I am getting better at catching him in the picture with his head up in the air.

First Friend

Leighton and his first friend Quinton Rude took a nap together at church!

Future President

Thanks for the outfit auntie Amber. He loves his 'Future President' onesie!

Sweater Pants

Luke doesn't really like these sweater pants ....

... and apparently neither does Leighton!
