Schafbauch Wedding

Here are some fun family pictures from a wedding we went to. It was a busy day with the wedding, reception, and then off to church at the DTC. Luke was a groomsmen and Leighton and I stood in the back trying not to disrupt the ceremony.

Four Steps

Tonight after church we had a girls valentine's day party. Leighton took 4 steps in a row. He had such a look of concentration. I am so proud of him and praise the Lord for every tiny but miraculous thing that he accomplishes in Leighton's life.

The fact that he was born, everything works properly, that he smiles, fights colds, grows, and is able to crawl and now start walking is incredible. This is nothing less than proof that God is the creator of all things and was responsible for knitting him together before birth and working in and protecting his life now. God is so amazing and intelligent to have created such a boy as Leighton.

Valentine's Day

We had a great Valentine's Day. Luke, Leighton and I sat down for an amazing pancake feast at home after playing with Leighton in bed for a while and having a lazy morning.

I felt very blessed to have that pancake morning! Maybe next year we can make the pancakes into heart shapes or something more festive!

Baby 2 is a BOY

We had a successful ultrasound this morning. We found our that Leighton will have a baby BROTHER! Luke was wrong again! He has thought both of the babies were girls, and both are boys. I trust Luke's leadership and discernment in everything ... except now I do not trust him guessing the gender of our children.

We are obviously very thrilled and can't wait to meet him! I wonder if the two boys will look alike.

We are accepting names for the new little one so let us know if you have any ideas.
