The ER and Croup

Leighton has been sick the last couple of days, with a raspy breakthing and minor coughing, but this morning was a little worse. He was breathing hard and still very weezey. We went to the ER. It was not only Leighton's first trip there, but my first trip there as well. After much torture and testing, they declared that he had Croup. I am not entirely convinced that he has croup because he isn't coughing as much as he is deeply breathing and weezing and because he sleeps fine at night. But I am glad we went in, either the oxygen or the steroid seemed to help him cuz he went from cuddly and lazy and sad to wanting to play a little more.

Swimming at the Hotel

Luke and I had a wedding in Kansas City, KS. We were there a day early for the rehearsal so we took Leighton swimming in the pool. For some reason, it wasn't as much fun as we thought it would be, it lasted about 2 or 3 minutes and he was sad for all of it! But his new suit and swim shirt were still pretty cute!

Cheesecake Factory

Me and the bible study girls went to the cheese cake factory for a delicious dinner. Dinner out with the girls was a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday.
