McCabe is 7 and Wynnlee is 4

Our amazing McCabe turned 7 years old.  These pictures don't capture enough of what I want to share with the world about this child.  These pictures show him stuffing his face, getting to eat out, and receiving a lot of presents.  But what they don't capture is his personality, his growing character, his  humor, the magnificent volume of his voice, his sensitive side, or his sweet demeanor.  He is delightful.  He is thoughtful.  He is athletic.  He is charming.  He is intelligent.  He is smiley.  And he needs about an hour more sleep than anyone else in this house if you want him to be the things I just listed.   I am so glad that I am his mother.

Our equally as amazing Wynnlee turned 4 years old.   The pictures of her obviously don't do justice to the entire beautiful soul that she is, but they do show a surprising amount of her personality.  She loves her brothers so passionately.  She is their little shadow.  For her birthday she asked for Guns, sporty socks, and a razor scooter so she can zip around the neighborhood with them.  She will follow them anywhere.  Lets hope they model a lot of really good things in the years to come!  She loves her dad a lot too.  She is also very silly.  And has a girly side fighting for attention too.  She changes her outfits and shoes multiple times each day.  Happy Birthday to this wonderful first daughter of ours.

Leighton's Baseball Team

Leighton's Baseball Team for the first season was wonderful.  We had a fantastic coach.  He was knowledgable and very kind.  He even treated the kiddos and their families to ice cream after our last game.  I was very impressed by that!  I guess I am pretty easy to please over here!  It is such a good reminder of how far generosity can go.

Wedding

Luke helped officiate the wedding of his good friend Kyler.  It is always fun to be apart of someones wedding in that special way.

I am very glad we snapped a picture together just before sunset.  I love this man of mine.

Spring Baseball

This spring we played our first season with Raccoon Valley Little League.  McCabe missed most of this season due to our vacation to North Carolina and then breaking his arm on our swing set.  Leighton played on a team with Mason Roberts, Quinn Rude, and Judah Locke.  They had a blast and had a fantastic coach.  We even went to the park an extra time with just those wonderful families to play a pick up game.  McCabe mastered hitting with one hand and playing first base where he didn't have to make any throws.

I had more pictures of the games in their uniforms but they must be on my phone still.  Hopefully I will post those from this season.

They are playing the second season for this summer so hopefully we have a lot more cute pictures of the boys and the fans!
