Leighton's 6th Birthday

I really thought Leighton turning 6 would be less of a big deal that turning 5.  5 and 10 seem to be such milestones that I didn't anticipate 6 feeling too crazy.  But I was wrong.  A 6 year old sounds so old! And I have one of them now! And I am so delighted about Leighton's 6 year old life.  

Hair Cuts

I would like to start out by saying that this was not my idea!  I LOVED heir long hair.  I really LOVED it.  But with summer fast approaching, memories of thick sweaty hair started filling my mind and I decided that getting hair cuts was the best thing to do.  If I haven't mentioned it yet, I LOVED their hair long.  But as it turns out, I LOVE their hair short too!  They are just so handsome either way!

Oh sweet McCabe.  He looks so much older!

His hair doesn't look all that different in the front since his hair was shorter and thinner, but he too had a surprising large amount of hair on the floor for a trim.

Science Center

Leighton wanted to go to the Science Center to celebrate his birthday.  We don't go very often so it always seems like there is new stuff to try!
