Sculpture Park

Our famliy spent an evening walking around downtown, playing on all the land to roam by the sculpture park, and enjoying some great family time.

We took some long over do pictures of Luke and I each with the kids. I guess you couldn't real call them family pictures since the 5 of us are not all in one. But they are sweet to us none-the-less.

Daddy and the babies ...

Mommy and the babies ...

Daddy catching fearless McCabe ...

McCabe standing on a sculpture perfectly between two buildings ...

My handsome boy, Leighton ...

With fearless spirits my boys saw a chance to climb on something tall.

And with a dad to catch a fall, they courageously braved the tall tall wall ...

Brooks watching all the boys run up and down the hill countless times. I think he is so excited about being in this family and I think he is so eager to play with them.

And a photo opportunity wouldn't be complete without some close-ups of our quickly growing, expession showing, handsome looking, and smile sharing Brooks David Hukee.

I love my family sooooooooooooooooooooooo much!

A Monday Leighton Story

This morning, while eating Fruit Loops, Leighton asked if he could take the colores out and match them up. I said sure. He proceeded to put oranages by oranges, greens by greens, etc, etc. Then he ate them in pairs.

I must note that I do this with M&Ms! :)

A McCabe Story

Something sweet I wanted to record for McCabe to remember...

McCabe told me that he loved me.
I asked him how much.
He said, "Two!"

I told Luke the story, so he gave the same question a try.

Luke asked McCabe how much he loved him.
McCabe responded, "Three!"

Buddies

Leighton & McCabe are wonderful brothers. They entertain each other and really love one another so much.

I am a blessed mother. My kids are a delight to watch and I get to watch them ALL day EVERY day. :)

Wild Awake & Wild Asleep

When I peeked in on my kiddos this morning, McCabe was sleeping on the floor. . He is wild when he is awake.
He is wild when he sleeps.

he is sweet when he is awake.
He is sweet when he sleeps.

Ages

Time is flying by. Which means, my boys are getting so BIG, so fast.

My Loveable Leighton is 3 Years Old...My Marvelous McCabe is 2 Years Old...My Bubbly Baby Brooks is 8 Months Old ...This picture of my kiddos trying to hold their puzzle numbers describes them all well: Leighton is trying to hold his 3 sooooo perfectly, McCabe wouldn't hold his number 2 still, and Brooks was trying to get away to a toy. When Big Brother Leighton would notice Brooks trying to get away, he tried to help by scooping him up with his free hand and pulling him in close...
McCabe's latest smile-face. Good effort little buddy...
