Des Moines Arts Festival

Leighton attended his first Des Moines Arts Festival and also got to spend time with both sets of grandparents. Grandpa Phil is holding him while the rest of us eat some delicious lunch!

Leighton Grabs Things

He has started to grab things like my shirt, toys, and my hair.

Tummy to Tummy

Leighton did some tummy time on Luke's tummy.  

Leighton's Morning Routine

Leighton, while remaining swaddled, wakes up in the morning and shimmys his way to the edge of the crib.  This is how I find my sweat boy every single morning!

Behind Bars

Leighton's new favorite thing is to wake up from his nap, not let anyone know about it, find his way to the edge of the crib, sticks his legs in between the bars and then start crying very loudly when he can't figure out how to get his legs back out.  In this particular picture, he did it while fighting a nap. 

Umbilical Cord Hernia

Since his Hernia is starting to shrink already, I thought I should get a good shot of it.  It still doesn't bother him at all.  I think it is so cute and when I hold him up to my chest, it gets pushed in and makes a faint little noise.

Big Boy

Leighton is getting so much bigger, he barely fits in the bouncy chair that used to be so much bigger than he was.
