Bible Study Dinner Out

The couples from our family bible study enjoyed dinner together at the Latin King!  It is always fun to get dressed up and go out to eat with Luke, but tonight we got to enjoy fellowship with some good friends too!  7 or the 8 families had babies within 6 months of each other and everyone already had from one to 3 other children!  It was definitely fun to get out and enjoy adult conversation.   I must confess there were 3 infants present and I was glad to be one of those moms!  It is hard to get away from the kiddos, so having one with me always helps a little bit. 

Play-Doh

Play-Doh is a toy everyone enjoys and will sit still for.  I like to break it during these dark winter evenings when we need a creative, fun, quiet activity.

Dad Loves Wynn

It doesn't get much sweeter than Daddy's and their Daughters!

 

Wynnlee is a very happy girl.  We love getting to know her more and more as she grows and develops a personality and smiles all day long. 

Thanksgiving in Minnesota

We spent thanksgiving in Minnesota with my parents. 

It was filled with family, food, football, and fun!

Leighton, Luke and Grandpa went out to eat at Fogo De Chao, an all you can eat meat Brazilian steakhouse, followed by first row tickets to the Timberwolves game. 

We also skyped with my sister Amber and her family from Virginia.  Here are the cousins talking ...

 Great Aunt Colette brought High Ho Cherri-O.  The boys really loved playing that.  It was a great idea and kept the kids still for a few minutes every couple of hours.  Hopefully the time playing childrens games will eventually evolve into hours of the Ludemann family favorite game, Zionchek! Hopefully that is just a few more thanksgivings away. 

The boys saw their first snow of the season and took turns opening the back door to stick their fingers into the snow accumulating on the deck. 

 McCabe enjoyed Grandma's utensils; He stirred just about all of the toys around in Grandma's bowls. 

 

Horse Jumping

 

We saw some horse races on TV the other night and a few horse jumping competitions.  The next day I saw Leighton and McCabe unloading toys out of the closet and setting up a track for their very own horse racing extravaganza.

 I love watching the mind of a child work.

So creative. 

Grandpa Visit

My dad does some business in Des Moines, so we had him here visiting for a few days.  The kids always enjoy grandparents and are sure to get wild and giggly.
