Olympic Speed Skating
Kids are so impressionable.
Seriously.
They once saw horse jumping on TV and proceeded to set out every large toy or bucket around the house as 'fences' or obstacles to jump over.
The other day they went to their first hockey game, and have since been planing hockey in the dining room using plastic swords at their hockey sticks and a toy gorilla as the puck. It is even complete with checking.
We have watched a lot of sports recently since the Olympics are on. Every sport they immediate copy. They watched the snowboarding half pipe and have been crazy flips and jumps off of everything.
They saw speed skating last night and have since been racing in a circle around our dining room table. And this one is even complete with sliding and slipping. You should have seen it before the socks came off! Dangerous.

Dancing Pajamas!
McCabe spontaneously thought of this catchy song and it was hit!
Wynnlee loves being included in what the brothers are doing. And I love spectating fun nights like this one.
Brothers
I love that Leighton and McCabe got to start their sporting careers together; first in soccer and now in basketball.
I this this first picture is so funny of both boys standing side by with arms intertwined asking for their teammate to pass them the ball. It wasn't even the slightest bit competitive, they just didn't quite understand!
And I love this picture of the brother sitting together at half time. At half time, there is always a video testimony or truth shared. This particular week, these two handsome brothers got to watch their dad on the big screen. Luke shared this weeks devotional and talked about the validity of the bible! How awesome that these boys get to hear Luke teach truth, experience him coaching them, and they even get to have that same awesome man drive them home, wipe their tears, play with them, tuck them in, pray for them, and obviously so much more that goes into being a dad.
