4th Of July

For the past several years we have celebrate the 4th of July at the Urbandale Parade with The Unraths and Emersons.  We cap of the evening with The Unraths on the hill.  We have have Northern Lights Pizza and balance that terrible quality of food with some delicious kombucha!  And Jon never disappoints with his blow torch, 100+ sparklers, and glow necklaces for an army.    So many fun memories.  

4th of July

Fourth of July

Parade in the morning with great weather and lots of candy.

Lunch at Grandma and Grandpa Hukee's house in the afternoon with Uncle Jake who was visiting from Chicago with a beautiful puppy named Remi.

BBQ Dinner with friends where Luke got hit in the face with a frisbee while I was telling him that one of the kids when to the bathroom in his pants!  Dinner festivities ended quickly with a black eye and a bottomless kid in his carseat! 

Fireworks and sparklers in the evening were we got to sit and relax and cuddle together extra close since the temperature dropped and we were all chilly in long sleeves and blankets!
