Fall School

Most of our school days consist of learning around our table, or in our yard, or on the couch reading.  And most of those of course go undocumented.  But on occasion, we venture out with friends on some pretty cool field trips.  Here are a few picture of the kids coloring and a few show the field trips we participated in this fall!

Field Trip: Jester Park

Our first group field trip of the year was at Jester Park for a bug hunt.  It was cold weather so the bugs weren't exactly out and lively but we did find some.  The kids loved the huge nets, permission to off-road and get all dirty and full of stick-tites, getting to lift up logs and dig in the mud.  Of course field trips are extra fun when they are with their friends and I am with mine!

We had a great time.  Then we rushed home to get reading for a fancy evening of wedding rehearsal for Aunt Jenna's wedding and a great dinner out.  From the park by day to Johnny's Steakhouse by night, we had quite a full and adventurous day!
