A strange list? Maybe, but these were the highlights of the evening:
1. Getting dropped off at the door by Luke, so that we could all leave our coats in the Van. I did not want to keep my eye on 4 kids, 5 puffy coats, 4 hats, and 8 mittens.
2. Sitting in front of our friend Chrystal who was vocal and lively.
3. The rodeo clown. Should I be ashamed of that? I just could not help but laugh at him.
4. Cookies. Yes. Cookies. I love 'em. Once Wynnlee spotted them she HAD to have them and I was happy to buy it for her. And of course 5 others for the rest of us.
5. Watching McCabe totally invested into the show. I think that perhaps Leighton and Brooks were just as excited to be there, but McCabe just showed it in a more obvious way. And in case you are wondering, McCabe was this excited THE WHOLE TIME. Every bareback ride, every sadly ride, every bull ride. His cheek turned red because he was working so hard to clap.
6. Wearing my new purse. Mostly because it wasn't my huge diaper bag, but also because it was hands free and red!
7. Listening to country music. It isn't often that I listen to country music anymore and there is just something fun about it.
8. Watching Leighton in his cowboy boots. Oooh and Wynnlee too! The former handsome and manly, the latter precious and cute!
9. Watching Brooks sit on Luke's lap almost the whole time.
10. Horses. They are just so beautiful.
11. Being with my family. Being with people from our church too!
