New Neve

Wynnlee called Neve, New Neve for the first several months of her life.  The title is wearing off, and so is her infancy.

You guys, I can't hardly speak about this series of pictures. They are so dear to my heart.  This baby is such a gift from God.  I tell you, its amazing how much I love her.  I can still, at this point, smell the way she smelled in these pictures or tell you exactly what I was thinking about when the picture was taken or what prayer I had prayed over her that morning or about how I simply couldn't put her down at that moment because it was too hard to let her go and had to, I just had to soak more of her up for tomorrow, she is bigger.  Oh how her head fits so snuggly under my chin and her body perfectly in my arms.  My memories are so vivid.  It is terrifying that they soon may not be.  She is growing and changing. What an absolute delight she is; A true gift from God.   

Outdoor Movie

Our church hosted an outdoor movie night.  The kids enjoyed the bounce house for an hour!  But sense it was rainy, they also got really wet in the bounce house.  That was followed by an hour of the LEGO movie in the chilly weather!  We secured a spot by a space heater and drank a lot of hot chocolate so we were warm enough and it was so fun.

Christmas with Grandpa & Grandma Ludemann

My parents drove to Iowa to spend a few days Celebrating Christmas with us.  We enjoyed having them here and being able eat meals with them, play endless games with them, talk with them, and enjoy all the new gifts with them.  We had a wonderful time.

 

 

After Christmas with the Hukee family, our own family Christmas, and Christmas with the Ludemann's, we are officially exhausted, thankful, blessed, joyful, and excited.

Christmas in Minnesota

We got to celebrate Christmas in Minnesota with Grandma Ludemann, Grandpa Ludemann, Aunt Amber, Uncle Brendan, Counsins Hayden & Abby, Great Grandma Bea, and Great Aunt Colette.

You would be impressed to hear all that we accomplished: A day at the Mall of America complete with a trip to the underwater aquarium, ridign rides at the nikelodeon land, and lunch at Crave, dinner for 8 adults, and 5 kids 3 and under ... at a nice restaurant ... made possible by a private room, several games of Zioncheck (one even by candle light - keep reading to find out why), watching snow flurries, going on a cold walk, watching neighbors ice skate, having a delicious Christmas meal after an hour long power outage right before dinner time, a few naps, opening a lot of presents, and getting to enjoy a lot of great company.

The boys love reading and singing Christmas songs, so this book with Christmas Song lyrics in it was quiet a hit. We sang, 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas," multiple times.
