Aunt Jenna Hukee's Wedding
We all enjoyed a wonderful day celebrating Luke's sister Jenna's Wedding to Jake Williams. It was a beautiful day, she was beautiful bride, and it was a beautiful wedding. My parents were in town to attend the wedding, so we enjoyed lots of family time!
The kids did a great job being dressed up, being out of their routine, being prim and proper for 10 hours straight, being without toys, eating at random times and even with some missing naps.
Our family of 6 and counting ...
I still love being a bride to this handsome, Mr. Luke David Hukee. We will celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary in summer 2015 and I remember a lot from our wedding day! Hopefully Jenna and Jake will have wonderful and lasting memories from their day as well!
Well the walked down the isle. It was a speed walk. I can't say there was one single smile. But they did physically make it down the isle.
The reception was at Glenn Oaks Country Club. I have a feeling that the only thing my kids will remember will be eating the appetizers. They loved the meatballs on a stick.
And here is me with my one and only, once again ...
I can't believe, with all the build up, that Aunt Jenna's Wedding day is already over. It went very fast.
Aunt Jenna's Rehearsal
Aunt Jenna, Luke's sister, got married this past week. Here we are at the rehearsal! The kids practiced walking down the Isle. Wynnlee did fantastic! She loves her big dress, the basket she got to carry, and wearing mommies wedding pearls. Leightin and Brooks were neutral about the experience. McCabe was NOT HAPPY. He was so embarrassed that he had to do it and was crying just minutes before it. Stay tuned to hear how it went the night of the wedding!

Field Trip: Jester Park
Our first group field trip of the year was at Jester Park for a bug hunt. It was cold weather so the bugs weren't exactly out and lively but we did find some. The kids loved the huge nets, permission to off-road and get all dirty and full of stick-tites, getting to lift up logs and dig in the mud. Of course field trips are extra fun when they are with their friends and I am with mine!
We had a great time. Then we rushed home to get reading for a fancy evening of wedding rehearsal for Aunt Jenna's wedding and a great dinner out. From the park by day to Johnny's Steakhouse by night, we had quite a full and adventurous day!

She's My Blue Eyed Girl
A few more months left with only one lady in the bathtub. Pretty soon she will be sharing the tub, the toys, the stickers and eventually the clothes with her little sister pie.
