Wrestling

My husband has had a labor intensive, mentally exhausting, busy, busy, busy week. He has been participating in Mission to the City. He has been others focused, sharing the gospel, serving other churches and downtown business, giving out free breakfast, walking, working, talking, helping, serving, and then some more walking, working, talking, helping, serving, etc. He has been blessing people, blessing the city, and blessing others. And he has done it with a great attitude when he has been outside of our home and he has had a great attitude when he has been inside of our home.

When he has come home late in the evening
instead of crashing
instead of complaining
instead of eating
instead of relaxing
instead of asking me to serve him
instead of sleeping
instead of being quick tempered
instead of being lazy
instead of turning on the TV
instead of even sitting and signing
instead of searching for peace and quiet
he finds room in his mind, his strength and his heart to wrestle his little bambinos.

What a delight Luke has been. What a great husband. What a great dad.

I could watch these scenes and listen to these giggles for hours upon hours.

God has blessed me tremendously.
